has anyone ran track studs all year? having a lot of track slippage on my hill .
I have read a few reports of people using the snow tracks on the lawn and it did a lot of damage and most threw the tracks off pretty easily. I can’t say I’d recommend it based on seeing those reports.
Hi there, as Bryan suggested, we generally don’t recommend using snow tracks on the lawn because they can cause extra wear. Regarding the slippage on your hill, could you share more details about the conditions? Then we can suggest possible solutions for you.
its a hill that leads to a pond, and the downslope can be slick with leaves, and i get a lot of track errors, which then i have to go into the vision and manually drive it to unstick it. i have it running up and down the hill instead of side to side to prevent roll over.
Do you have photos? Is the grade too steep for side to side? It’s not too heavy. I’ve had mine on unadvertised and unsupported slopes and it didn’t seem like it would roll. It slides sideways mostly down the hill on too steep of a slope. Did a lot of crab walking trying to stay straight. I certainly wouldn’t recommend it if your slope exceeds the advertised grade. You could also maybe try an angled approach on the slope vs straight up and down.
