I am going to try find some of the chunks tomorrow that I chipped off today and see if they will dissolve/come apart in water or soap and water.
Please keep us posted how it goes. Kinda curious to see if it works or not.

Some plastics are plant based. Stands to reason under certain conditions plant debris may plasticize. Maybe this is one of those conditions.
