In the latest release I have a situation where the lights are not turning on while mowing. Granted I am 100% ok with this because I have a large yard and mow throughout the night. The lights are BRIGHT and cause unneeded attention and can shine in windows.
So, while I don’t want to see this feature/bug patched I would like to request the option to turn off lights, with an understanding when lights are off vision would not work at night.

Thank you for your feedback!
Currently, during the mowing schedule, the system uses the camera to detect ambient light and automatically turns the lights on or off based on lighting conditions.
As for your suggestion to have a manual option to turn off the lights — this is something we’re actively working on. You can expect this feature to be available in future updates. With it, you’ll be able to choose whether to enable or disable the automatic light adjustment. When disabled, the lights will remain or unchanged during the schedule, regardless of the surrounding environment.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue improving the user experience!

How soon will this feature be avaliable? I know my neighbors aren’t very pleased with the lights at night, but that is the only way for me to cut my 6 acres weekly.
what obstacle avoidance settings are you using? Gentle Contact mode or something like moderate bypass?
Use black Gorilla teip on the lights… It will please your neighbors
This is what I was going to suggest once they confirmed they aren’t using vision for avoidance. If they are using vision, the lights are needed.
Thank you for your message. This feature is estimated to be available in about 2 months or slightly longer, depending on development progress.
We understand the concern about the lights at night, especially with nearby neighbors, and appreciate your patience as we work to bring this feature to you.

I’m not currently using vision. I just use gentle contact. Once the vision improves I might use it in some areas. I really hate using battery power for lights that aren’t even being used. I am happy to hear this is something they are working on. I will black them out in the meantime. Not sure why I didn’t think about that in the first place.

Sometimes we get so focused on the problem we don’t see the simple solutions. Tape is not ideal, but it works!
