Charging Pad blue yarbo won't charge

My fix for this.

My fix has worked to 93 Fahrenheit. (That is the hottest temp I’ve had in the past few days.

Good luck! YMMV

Mine would not charge no matter what the temp is outside. However the first time it wouldnt charge it was fairly hot outside around mid 80s. I had since tried charging it again since reading all the talk on the temps. I was bummed to learn it must be a worse issue. I should be (according to yarbo) be getting a new core replacement within the next week or so. But c’mon yarbo…what a mess not having the correct error to display.

I have the same problems. With hot temperature 34°c yarbo wont charge with dock and also the plug.
I dont have bought the cable to direct charge battery. So i ll have to wait a few hour to try charging.
It could also have a problem with the dock it s hot and threre is no way to cold it exept the ground.

Is that air temperature or battery temperature?

If that is battery temperature you should open a ticket as it should charge at 34.

You can get the battery temp from the diagnostics page. (Scroll down)

The air today at the max it was 37°C.

Batterie was over 35 but don’t now really.

Ladt week it has work with 33°c in tthe afternoon.

Battery stops charging at 50 and won’t resume until 45. I don’t think that is your issue. My dock has been fine in direct sun at 98 degrees and the rover charges until the thermal protection kicks in at 50.

That is my experience as well. You may have a different issue. I’d suggest opening a ticket if you don’t have one already.

Here are my observations while obsessing over the battery charge as related to temp.

Yes I’m a geek…

I’ve had pretty good luck with this approach:
