Checkerboard Pattern Height updated by Pass

Hello Yarbo,

Is there a means (besides creating two separate Yards) whereby you could set the height of the two perpendicular passes of the mower? For example, I’d like to have the 1st past of my yard to be at 3.5" for my St. Augustine Grass. That pass would be at a N-S direction. The 2nd pass I’d like to set at 3" (final cut height) when the Yarbo does the E-W direction. This way, the first cut takes care of the top of the grass that has rapidly grown during the rainstorms in FL. The 2nd cut would take care of the final height I’d like.

I’ve tested this method manually using Yarbo and it seems to help with clogging and overall cut quality when we get a ton of rain.

Have you played around with the target height mode? This will start at 4 inches and drop the blades to your target height (3 inches) across 5 cuts and if you have checkerboard set, it will get close to what you are asking for. It does turn off when completed or you make a setting change in the area though.

The cutting height and route angle are tied to each area. Therefore, if you want a different mowing direction and cutting height for the first and second passes, you would need to manually adjust the route angle and cutting height for the area before starting a new work plan.
