"Adjusting blades" message during the work plan

Recently I have observed several times that at some point in the middle of the plan Yarbo is standing in one place and there is the message that yarbo is adjusting the blades. I’ve tried to pause plan, take over the control, drive back, resume plan, but it still goes there and stucks to adjusting blades message. I even went to yarbo and I can hear that blades are freely spinning. And this happens during the plan where there is no need to change mowing height.

Also the height was showing 10.2 cm and when lowering it, nothing happened and with the warning message it got back to 10.2, but in reality the blades on yarbo was all the way out (lowest position)
After some magic and resuming yarbo finally got going.

Any ideas what causes this behaviour?

Verify that you are able to actually manually adjust the blades up and down the full range of motion. If you can manually adjust them, then this may be a software bug. If not, check this article.

Ok. In my case the discs were freely spinning and not blocked by anything. Anyways - submitted a ticket for that.

That’s good. But how about the up and down movement? That’s what the message means. That it’s adjusting the blade height. Some people have had some success with setting the area/pathway settings to max cut height so that it doesn’t have to adjust at all. But it’s been intermittent still for most I’ve seen.

Well when i inspected the yarbo when it was stuck the blades were all the way down, but the app showed 10.2 cm (which is all the way up) and changing mowing height did not change the position of the blades (seen also on video how it reacts when i’m clicking the mowing height button and it jumps back to 10.2cm)

Then there is definitely something going on with the cutting height adjustment. Hopefully they can figure out what’s going on in your support ticket.

Thanks for submitting a support ticket and for providing the detailed information and video. Our support team will further investigate the issue, especially the abnormal cutting height adjustment behavior, and help work toward a solution for you as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience and the detailed troubleshooting you’ve already done.

Yep. Looks like it’s mower issue. Already waiting for new module. Old one is still somehow mowing, but sometimes stucks to adjusting blade error andvwhat is most annoying, mows too low… but not always.

So let’s hope the new one works without issues.

Hello @Yarbo-Forum, since I have not received any updates regarding the replacement mower, nor updates in ticket, could you please look from your side what’s the status update with ticket #197033?

@andris.leja Hi there, apologies for the delay in the replacement delivery. You can expect to receive the tracking number within this week—if everything goes smoothly, you may receive it before Thursday.

We kindly ask for your patience while you wait for the replacement to arrive.

Receive tracking number before Thursday or the replacement unit? The grass is growing.

It’s tempting to open the mower module and look for any loose or corroded wires, but that would void the warranty, right?

While waiting for the tracking number for my replacement module, went out to test antennas and while driving tried to switch on the lights. I was surprised that front lights on mower module are really dimmed. Ok, anyway, the module will be replaced, but nevertheless i’m wondering what could cause this. When parked Yarbo tried to switch on again and it even looks like only one of lights turns on. In picture the left side (left side in picture) is on.

I’m guessing - moisture?

I’m guessing a break or partial break in the wiring harness. Maybe something making poor contact.

Yup. M25 and/or harness. They’ll neve admit what’s going on.
