As long as I am near the core I can connect to it and look at the status. Once I am away from the core, I lose connection and am unable to see anything. I do have the data center mounted about 40 ft in the air so that wouldn’t be an issue. I don’t think. Any suggestions to what I have set up wrong?
Sounds like you are only connecting via Bluetooth.
Try turning off the phone’s Bluetooth and try to connect to Yarbo in the app. What happens??
Also, just to confirm - Your Data Center is connected to wired Ethernet, right?
Please post some screenshots of your diagnostics. RTK, status, data center, and HaLow sections.
Based on your description, it seems that you are only able to connect to your Yarbo through Bluetooth when you are close to the Core, while the remote connection is not working properly.
Could you please submit a support ticket by following the steps shown in the picture? This will allow our team to collect the necessary information and further investigate your connection setup.
Thank you for your cooperation, and we’ll help look into this issue as soon as possible.
When I turn the blue tooth off, I no longer can see the core. The data center is hooked to wired internet.
Hi. Ok. To expedite getting your Yarbo properly connected ASAP, let’s tackle things on multiple fronts.
As @Yarbo-Forum requested, open a ticket including all relevant info & screenshots. Post the ticket number here.
Meanwhile, as @bryan.wheeler requested, post screenshots here of your diagnostic screens. He’s the resident expert in connectivity related issues.
One way or another, your Yarbo will soon be properly up and running!
@bryan.wheeler Ok here are the screen shots of the diagnostic page. I do have a solid green light on the data center. If I turn off the blue tooth I lose connection with the core. While I have blue tooth off I see the Halow icon on the screen but no connection to anything
@Yarbo-Forum ticket # 226257 has been created this morning and trouble shooting thru email most of the day
@rgloverii thank you for the help.
Also I have changed the Halow ant. As I had a spare
Everything looks perfect. Some things you could try.
Unplug DC power and battery cable for 5 mins. Power up DC, then core. Try to connect with BT off.
Logout of the app and try logging back in or uninstall the app and reinstall it.
If those things don’t work, then I think it is a backend issue that support is going to have to resolve for you.
@bryan.wheeler I’ll give those a try in the morning. Grover just docked for the night and I believe I’ll do the same. Making maps and stuff is hard in 100degree heat
Ok I just tried rebooting the data center with battery unplugged and still the same issues. Also tried to uninstall and reinstall the app. Still same issues. Just waiting on @Yarbo-Forum to see what they come up with
Hopefully support gets back to you soon with a fix.
@Yarbo-Forum any solutions yet?
Thanks for the help.
Hi there, I’ve checked your support ticket in our system. To continue with the diagnosis, could you please update your ticket with the required information so our team can investigate further? Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
I have updated the ticket several times and now it is referred to FSE. Waiting on reply’s to the emails.
@Yarbo-Forum any good word on ticket 226257?
I I am still only able to connect to the core by Bluetooth.
Hi there, I’ve asked the responsible FSE to look into ticket #226257 as soon as possible and further investigate the issue.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we review the details and work toward a proper resolution. We’ll keep you updated once we have more information.
Just to close out the thread. Support has gotten the issue resolved. The MQTT connection ( not sure what this is) needed to be restored. Currently I am 7000 miles away and can connect to my Yarbo.
