Is there a way to tell Yarbo not to aim towards a no-go zone? It looks like there are options in the no go zones to set throwing direction, will that prevent it from throwing there?
Not currently but if you want it to throw towards one you could draw the throwing direction along the area edge and it currently will throw it there. If you don’t want that, it’s going to need another place to deposit it defined. I hope they implement a NO THROW area optional setting for the NGZ. Basically a toggle that it’s ok or not ok to throw snow in that direction.
Testing out plans a good portion of the day today it’s going to plaster our vehicle(s) and the house with snow…the chute seems to randomly wander all over☹️
It does wander, especially when the yellow line isn’t continuous. I believe this is something they are working on refining.
When it got to this section it started coming up the driveway towards the no go zones blowing towards the throwing are ~1/3rd of the way before turning around swung straight at the no go zones, ~2/3rds of the way swung back towards the throwing spot:face_with_spiral_eyes:![]()

That would be beneficial. In addition to that I would like to see them add a dedicated no throw setting.
Even just a way to lower the speed all the way and set the chute lower towards an area not done yet. I’d hate to fling a rock at the cars and chip the paint, break a headlight, or window…same for throwing stuff at the house🫠
I pelted more than one car last year passing by my house. It’s thrown snow into my garage and pelted cars parked in the driveway. I have well defined snow throw areas but while its adjusting the chute it throws snow and ice everywhere. This really needs to be addressed but Yarbo still hasn’t made a single comment about it. I and others have brought this up multiple times.
Yeah if it needs to change directions it can stop moving wait, aim forward and down on low power move to the next area where it is changing the aim towards and then pause, wait for the snow to clear the auger and impeller and then adjust the aim to the correct spot and resume
