controls are working backwards

My mower is doing everything backwards.
If I manually try to drive it, when:
I go forward it goes backwards
I go backwards it goes forward
if I try turning right it goes left
if I try turning left it goes right

Called in and created a ticket. The person answering the phone could not even get my email address correct and I had to spell each letter multiple times.

The unit has never performed exactly as they say and I am totally frustrated with this very expensive heap of electronic trash

What are you using to control it? Have you disconnected the battery cable and seen if that resolves the issue? Have you tried removing the mower module and using the smart assist module instead and see if the controls operate normally? If only using the app controller, have you tried the physical controller?

If you swap modules go into safety settings and shutdown the rover before swapping. Hot swapping will cause weird issues.

You can check in the app to see if they successfully opened a ticket for you and provide and check updates there. When you open the app at the top right click on your profile and then support center or go to support.yarbo.com

This is a first that I’ve seen so I’m very curious what the resolution will be. Wondering if maybe a wire got crossed or something was installed backwards. Assuming it’s hardware and not a software glitch.

We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. I’ve reviewed your support ticket, and we recommend using the built-in issue recording tool so our technical team can analyze the data and identify the root cause more efficiently.

To do this, please go to Settings > Diagnose Tools > Yarbo Diagnosis, then scroll down and tap “Record Issue”. Once it’s enabled, try to reproduce the problem. After that, turn off the recording and let us know the timestamp of when the issue occurred — this will greatly assist our diagnostics.

Regarding the service you received, we sincerely apologize. We understand your frustration, and we’re committed to improving our support experience moving forward.

Thank you for your understanding and patience!
