Mower light not working along with other odd behavior

After servicing Yarbo, I sent the mower out for the first time this season. It got to the starting position and just sat there. In the app it just says “yarbo is adjusting the blade” with no other actions. The blade is clearly spinning based on the sound it’s making. The other odd thing is that the mower light doesn’t turn on at all, even when manually told to do so. I’ve power cycled it. I’ve pulled the battery. Nothing has got it back to a working state. Anybody else have this or a similar issue? Yarbo support is nowhere to be seen unfortunately.

What is meant by “Lift the front of the mower”? This error only occurs when the mower is going and the blades are spinning. Is the guidance to manually lift the front of the mower. That seems sketchy if so.

The entire mower was just scraped and brushed clean with a new set of blades. It’s not a clogging issue.

Yes, by the side lift handles, to raise the mower slightly (keeping safe to avoid the blades and stand off to the side in case the core starts moving). If it’s a wiring harness issue inside the module (it probably is), then this can help confirm it. A lot of the time raising it manually by hand or adjusting the module gap to loose or tight will allow it to function for a period of time.

If you haven already, pull the electrical connection and check that all of the pins are OK.

I doubt that this is it but this kind of thing has gotten me in the past in other shituations!

This fits my situation almost to a “T”. The difference being I’ve successfully mowed twice this year. Yarbo received the firmware update and I just did a blade change and track service. After testing the mower, I thought we were all set. Yarbo went out this past Saturday to mow as scheduled and as jheaston experienced, Yarbo just sat there. Now it cannot mow.

My ticket #190515

This is the error message.

No clear signs of damaged pins on the connector.

I slightly lifted the front of the mower while it was giving the error that it was adjusting without any signs of success. I did adjust the morning height to 4" and it did start mowing. This is a new behavior. If I adjust it lower, the error that it’s adjusting the blades comes back.

You might get lucky and they just need to recalibrate the mowing height sensor. Hopefully that’s all it is and is a software fix.

Turning on the blades illuminated the icon, but blades do not power up. Lights inoperative on the mower, but OK on yarbo. Cannot get blade motors to go up or down. It acts like there is no power going to the mower.

I’ve also noticed when rebooting yarbo that the startup routine would raise and lower the lift mechanism, now nothing.

I’m sorry to hear about the issue. I’ve checked your support ticket in our system, and this case has been escalated to our Field Service Engineer for further investigation. Thank you for your patience.

I’m hoping you help Geoffg too, but saw you responded to his post and not mine.

mine was doing great mowing this year but i got this same issue after i updated to firmware v3.13.1 i updated 1 day later sent it out to mow and it just sat their for a while saying adjusting blades so i went to check on it and it had no lights on the mower including the blades not turning on or going up/down but the cameras worked after i restarted it i got power board issue (b010) i even tried putting the sam unit on just to see if it would have lights and no luck on that either i have tried restarting it even disconnecting the battery for a while i am currently waiting on a replacement core

Wanted to post back that the issue has been resolved! Support was responsive and determined that I needed a new mower. I received it in resonable time and tested - all good.

My solve was a new mower module too.

I’ve noticed 1 of my units has a side light that won’t illuminate while working our in the field yet when its on the charger, after pausing the charge session and manually turn them on it works fine?

This issue may require further investigation from our team. Could you please submit a support ticket and include any photos or videos that demonstrate the behavior? That information will help us better understand the issue and assist with the diagnosis.

For me.
