Just a dusk run to test parameters.
Looks like everything top to bottom for me will be about an 1:30-1:45 hours.

We haven’t had any meaningful snow yet this season, so I have been testing my workplans with the auger turned off.
Biggest concern right now is that Yarbo will accidentally point in the wrong direction and throw snow (or rocks, etc) where they shouldn’t be thrown. So I’m trying to mitigate those issues before I experience them.
Same, with the auger off during testing it still looks like we are gonna be blasting siding at some point.
We are gonna be throwing snow into the wind tossing in that caution too won’t hurt.
Oh, it will. And cars…
They really need to fix the chute adjustment logic. I’ve brought this up so many times I’ve lost count. @Yarbo-Forum has yet to comment on this glaring issue.
My concern is blasting cars driving by my driveway, and pelting my kids’ cars since they don’t get parked in the garage.
Fingers crossed that we’ll get another update soon that addresses this safety critical issue.
In the mean time, I’ll keep tweaking my work plans to further reduce the likelihood of unintentional snow discharge.
I’ve been trying to tweak this since last year with no luck. No matter how I setup the area, throw direction, etc it continues to throw snow while adjusting its forward movement and chute direction. I’ve spent hours playing with this. Two days ago I was out snowblowing and pelted a passing car yet again. Not the first time this has happened. Whenever it’s near the street I have to babysit it and hit pause when I see any oncoming traffic. That’s the dangerous issue. The other annoying issues are when it throws snow into the garage, parked cars, etc.
I know this is on their radar and high on the list. Hopefully we see it soon.
Where did you hear that? They have not commented on this in the forum at all. At least not that I have seen.
Might have been one of the live streams? @Yarbo-Forum can you confirm if this is something being worked on or being looked into?
Thanks for sharing! It’s great to hear your test results.
Regarding your concern about the snow throwing direction, I’ll pass this feedback along to our product team once again.
I haven’t thrown any snow yet as I’m a September purchaser but I can already tell the snow throw algorithm is loose at best.
Hahaha never occurred to me that I’m gonna be shoveling my garage but I’m here for it!
The street too is concerning. @JNS
@bryan.wheeler is this season 1, 2 or 3 of the snow blower?
Are you asking about the 2024 version?
Yeah. So I guess this would be season 2?
Season 2 of the 24 but it has roots in snowbot. So you’re looking at roughly 5 years.
+1 to all the above..
I would be very helpful if you could edit the throwing direction and angle for each line the plan has.
For me it seem to try to throw the snow the long way across the large part of my driveway instead of the short distance.
Again I’m here for all of this but 5 years and we are talking about throwing direction on the snowblower. That’s like important function number 2 right behind gathering the snow to throw.
I secretly believe this might be a 4 person software crew just blasting away on laptops, redbulls, and power naps.
I did zero reasearch beyond the marketing material. Don’t regret it one bit but the marketing material is front running capability by a factor of a couple 50-100 new employees.
Keeping in mind I’m a September 2025 Yarbo-er
Your description of the software team made me laugh out loud. It was perfect! Lol
I didn’t have the snow blower last year, but I’m guessing snow throwing worked better last year. Is that correct?
If so, the mowing optimizations may have interfered with snow operation.
