Yea, that’s not good. ![]()
Open a support ticket and include that video. Please keep us posted. Hopefully the support process will be quick.
Yeah I sent a couple support emails earlier today, Hope to hear something soon.
Fingers crossed. I hope it doesn’t take long for Yarbo support to resolve it for you.
I’m curious to hear how they go about it. I suspect they’ll want to send you a new drive motor module assembly.
That’s not a normal condition and will require further investigation from our support team. I’ve located your support ticket in our system, and the team will follow up with you shortly to help diagnose and resolve the issue.
Appreciate your patience—we’ll get this sorted out for you as quickly as possible.
Thank you! Yarbo was out of commission for a bit while I waited on replacement charging dock. It just now got the yard in shape, and this occurred
he mows about 3.5 acres twice a week
He was behind the barn down a hill I got a message track slip, so I walked over to investigate I couldn’t drive him straight but I got him to move. Told him to go recharge since he was getting low and he was just going in circles
The drive shaft turns when power is applied, but the wheel is obviously not attached to the drive shaft.
Could you please add these details to your support ticket? This will allow our team to investigate the issue more thoroughly and assist you more effectively.
Sorry I haven’t updated. The ticket is: 182968
so I received very fast response to my request, they said it was the right side and asked if I could confirm the Right or Left side. I said it was the left side.
Well they sent me the wrong side, they sent the right rather than the left. I was all excited to post an update of how fast I got the part but unfortunately this took the wind out of my sails.
Another suggestion that would be highly helpful would be a small document that shows where all the screw locations are, I struggled to know where all the screws were. It was also hard to remove the square locator motor mount the aluminum had corroded and made it very though to remove. I kept looking for a screw I may have missed. No documentation was included.
Sorry to hear about the mix up. They should’ve sent you a video on how to replace it. @Yarbo-Forum can you provide one and or some guidance?
Oh I’m an expert now. If there is not a video or documentation I planned on making one and attaching it here.
I’m really sorry to hear about the issue. I’ve contacted the FSE responsible for your case to send you the correct replacement as soon as possible.
As for your suggestion, I will also pass it along to our team.
@Yarbo-Forum Parts replacement without instructions for the average user is an unnecessary PITA. In the absence of any parts break down manual, the minimum standard should be some instructions. (Video or illustrated).
Fortunately, all the parts I received when needed came with, or I was able to find, links to videos which made it really easy to replace the parts. And for that I am thankful.
Drive wheel replacement isn’t something I’ve encountered yet (and I hope I dont). With that said a collection point of repair videos (some of which are located on the WIKI) is a necessity.
I know corporations dont like to do things like that as it gives the competition a chance evaluate your product. In my opinion that should not hinder the users ability to fix the product they own.
My two cents…..
I agree. Especially since there have been multiple cases where end users receive parts without any directions at all, and it sometimes takes a day or more of emails with support before they receive their installation instructions, which further delays the repair.
The overall goal should be to make the field repair process as seamless and frictionless as possible for the end users.
Agreed. The process should be (in the absence of a published article on the wiki):
“We’ve initiated the parts replacement process. Here is a link to the repair procedure once you receive the part”.
Typically, we do provide guidance videos for parts replacement. We’re sorry that this wasn’t included in the ticket response. Here is the guidance video on how to replace it:How-to: Replace the Running Motor Track Module - YouTube
We also truly appreciate your suggestion regarding a centralized collection of repair resources—it’s valuable input and something we’ll take into consideration.
Thanks again for sharing your thoughts with us!
