If one has multiple core units working in different areas, and both areas are within the range of the data center, can there be an easier way to share maps?
So you do not need to make a new map if one of the units has to go down for maintenance; one can just drive the core to that zone and upload the map

Maps contain all elements like areas, pathways, NGZ’s, etc. So you couldn’t upload individual elements like areas. Uploading the entire map, is not currently officially supported as there is some ties to the DC location in the map.

Thanks for sharing this idea — I completely understand the scenario you’re describing and why map sharing would be useful in that situation.
At the moment, this isn’t something we’re planning to support in the short term. That said, it’s a valid feature request, and we will definitely revisit it if more users express interest in having this capability.
We appreciate you taking the time to provide thoughtful feedback like this.

This procedure isn’t for the feint of heart and should be used with the utmost caution. However, this will sort of get you what you want. It copies everything from one core to another (all areas, pathways, docking stations, etc). There are a lot of critical steps, so follow it closely if you (or anyone) decides to do this.
