Failed to charge

Interesting charging problem today. Repeated failed to charge errors despite mower being positioned properly. Drove it off and back on repeatedly.
Finally power cycled the charger, then charging went back to normal.
I wasn’t expecting to need to “reboot” the charger. I thought it was relatively “dumb”…

If this continues to happen, your next step will be
a) Manually ensure the core is perfectly positioned on the dock with good GPS.
b) Use the “Reinstall Docking Station” option. Be sure to use the verification step.
c) Create a decently long pathway off of the dock, even if you won’t need it.

If it continues after that, open a ticket within the app and explain what you’ve tried thus far.

Curious…. What was your battery temp at the time?

I do not remember specifically, but it was not elevated.

It will suspend charging if battery temp exceeds 50C.

Interesting. Mine failed to charge yesterday and again today after spending time mowing. It wouldn’t charge on the plug in charger inside the garage, then after an hour or so, it starting charging again. Temp here (Kentucky) was over 100 degrees in the bright sun.

Then it was most likely elevated battery temperature stopping the charge. The error message is unclear because it talks about the docking alignment which is not accurate.
