Firmware V3.12.0 & App V3.17.4 Release Notes & Feature Highlights

One other point, I don’t see why it would be that difficult to patch just the app to fix that one missing waypoint button. @Yarbo-Forum that seems like an easy enough thing to do for users like @Kolbe ?

Hi Kolbe, thanks for your question. The Go to Waypoint feature is expected to be fixed in the next update. The upcoming update is still under development at the moment. We appreciate your patience and hope to have it available soon.

Spring is coming in my area. It doesn’t look much has been done in offseason to the improve the myriad of mower shortcomings. Is there any update if anything is in the works?

@cobradunn Hi there, thanks for checking in. At the moment, the related improvements are still in the development and internal testing stage.

Once they are ready to roll out, we will share detailed release notes. I’ll also provide more updates when they enter the PPP testing stage.

We appreciate your patience and feedback.

Please fix the same for the Blower. Otherwise it turns all the time before blower motor stops fully - resulting to blowing to unexpected directions and destroying its owm work.

“Safety Buffer” + “Extend Area Boundary” is also missing for Blower. This is Global MUST option for all modules if the same map will be reused. Even without perimiter blowing sometimes you need more distance from the border for Blower.

As I mentioned previously you need CrossModule Responsible to address global issues for all modules at once instead of resolving same Yarbo issue for 5 times for each module. This is not productive.

Thanks.

Agreed. Core functions should stay with the core and module specific features should be the only thing that applies to each specific module. Ideally all settings available at all times, just categorized by module type (expand or collapse automatically based on the attached module). But even if mower is attached, I can expand blower settings and tweak them.

Well said.

Ok, great. What’s planned in the update? I can recap all the issues from last year if that would help. From what I can tell, zero of them have been addressed. I’m considering a trimmer, but if I don’t see some real progress, I won’t be opening my wallet, and I’m sure I’m not alone. To get the ball rolling, here’s my docking damage from last year as it appears today.

@cobradunn Thank you for sharing your concern. We completely understand that lawn damage near the docking station has been a frustration for many users, and we truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

In this upcoming update, we don’t have changes specifically addressing that issue just yet. However, please rest assured that our product team has heard your voice loud and clear, and your feedback is being taken seriously.

While we can’t share all the details about the next update at this time, we want you to know that we are making real progress. For example, we will be introducing a path offset feature for both the lawn mower and the snow blower. This feature is designed to vary the machine’s route slightly every pass, which will help reduce lawn wear caused by repeatedly following the same path, and also minimize missed strips when snow blowing.

Your feedback matters, and it helps us prioritize what to work on next. Please keep it coming.

Like the Bluetooth Music is not on the lawn module.

That is truly a core function and should work with all modules. A lot of the time you have to go through the pairing process again to be able to connect again.
