Looks like a bad antenna and VERY bad timing
Next time I’ll update after a blizzard.
Thanks for your help et’ll. Sitting doing nothing was driving batty. I’m a service guy, so you learn by failures sometimes. I guess Brayn failed a lot ![]()
In my niche, I also help others engineers, mostly newbies, but it is some what self serving. If i get them to fix it. I don’t have to do a follow up visit.
I get paid either way.
Thanks again for sharing,
Doug

Dear Doug,
Thank you for your efforts.
Swapping the antennas will not fix the GPS issue; it is only a diagnostic step to help us determine whether an antenna is faulty. Based on the results, it appears the left antenna is malfunctioning.
We have arranged to send you 2 RTK antennas and 1 Halow antenna (the skinny one) for replacement. Once the parts are shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details.
Regarding the high-gain antennas:
These are specialized RTK antennas designed to improve GPS signal reception in partially obstructed environments. They are currently in the testing phase. You may choose to purchase two high-gain antennas separately if you find the standard antennas underperform in your location.
As for the module disconnection:
Please reconnect the snow blower module to the core unit even if it is not recognized. We will then run a dedicated diagnostic on the connection.
We appreciate your cooperation and support. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards,

Hi Sherry,
Help:)
It made a difference! Rover sees/saw 22 satellites! BUT, still thinks no GPS.
Tried a shutdown, but pushing the power button only had the red light on for moments.
After 5 minutes-it seemed dead so I unplugged the battery for 5 minutes and powered up, but the red light only stay on for moments. waited another 5 minutes, then held the button for 20 seconds and connected Bluetooth and played music through it for 5 minutes still didn’t come ready to work. Now it thinks I don’t have a snow blower module (This is the 3rd time it lost the module), but this time it is outside not in my warmer garage!! I had to shutdown, unhook the module, boot up, shutdown, hook it up, reboot then it seemed more normal.
I had a spare broken antenna, but couldn’t thread it on–hence broken! Can I buy 3 flexible antennas posts and 3 high gain antennas? (This is killing me with a foot of snow still waiting to be cleared:))
Doug
