Please show where to hammer a block of wood without busting the covers? Was told to hammer block of wood on frame. Frame is touching the rear cover. It will bust it. Who’s to say, it’s not already busted, if I could get it open? Thanks
Lordy…can you slide something in the center of the rear frame and pull that out and probably down a little so you can at least get the cover open? It may also pull the side back in for you.
I think I’d secure the unit and try to sneak the webbing of a tie-down strap in there below the latch on that cover and use the ratchet (or just pull with muh ripped and massive brute strength) to pull the center of the rear frame piece in the right direction. I think it’ll bend out with a slow pull on some of that tie-down webbing, and it won’t scratch (hopefully).
This one’s worse than the one reported 2-3 months ago where the center rear was just bent up a little and IIRC didn’t take much to pull back down and out a tiny bit.
Thanks, I’ll give that a try. Great link. I just didn’t want to break a new Yarbo. Or void anything. Thanks, if I have any problems, I’ll post, and ask again, or send pics if I have any problems. Thanks again…
Maybe, Fedex is dropping them harder. My box wasn’t in the best of shape. But going to try Mr. Wheelers link. It looks like that my resolve the issue. If not I’ll let you know. Thanks again.
Was able to get the frame back in shape. It’s was tougher that I thought, because the frame is very strong. But that’s a great thing. The only issue now is, as I thought. It was pushed in so hard the cover was broken from the pressure of the frame. I don’t know if this will cause the rear cover not to stay closed. Or, maybe they can send me a rear cover not damaged, and I can replace it here at home under warranty. Just glad to have that frame shaped back up. Thanks again.
!
I would think they’d be able to send you that part no issue if you’re comfortable replacing it on your own. The back cover is fine to leave off until then.
Yes Sir. I’m very mechanically inclined. I have lots of tools, and have time. Who would I contact to get just the part that’s broken? Or if you know the part number so I could ask? I’m just glad to not have to send it back after waiting so long. Thanks again for all your help…
Email support@yarbo.com or goto support.yarbo.com and open a ticket there. You can also open one in the app under your profile there is a support center.
You can link this forum for reference and ask for only the part to be shipped in lieu of a new core.
Very nice. I would like to Join the Yarbo PPP Team. If that’s an option. These kinds of things are really interesting. I have lots of technical skills, manually, computer, electrical and more. I’m in the southeast US. If we had a dealership here, we could help lots of people, and help the product line grow. Just a thought.
I sent them a report. I got a reply, with the link attached. They didn’t read it. Paul sent me back a reply. With the link you gave me, telling me how to fix the bent frame. But didn’t address the cracked cover for the rear. I asked him to review the link from here, with pics before, and after. And please follow up so I don’t have to ship the core back to fix it. Thanks again. Hopefully, they can help me resolve this problem.
I have reviewed your support ticket and forwarded it to our support team. Your issue will be escalated shortly for further investigation. We appreciate your patience and understanding!
Just to let you know Team Yarbo sent an email just now. Sincerely apologized for the inconvenience I have faced. Not worry they are actively working on my concerns. They would like to request Me to please share the SN number with them so that they could escalate my case to the relevant team and will try to resolve my issue as soon as possible. Sent just now. They’ll be working on it. Thanks all.
Thanks just saw the email. “Your replacement will be delivered within 7-10 days.” I appreciate you handling the problem. I have a question? Do I need a new core, or just replace the broken cover piece? You think there maybe other damage? I was able to get the frame back like the video shows, and the rear cover off, as seen in the pictures. I have tools, and can replace the broken cover, if it would be cheaper than shipping another core to and from the warehouse. Whatever you think, I’m ready to get Yarbo up and running. I put the weather sealer that was mailed out on the board last night. Please advise. Thanks again.
