Got error waiting for blades to reach speed

I did try and disconnect the battery for hours and let everything reset. It mowed for awhile but gave the same error with the left blade not spinning. Seems like a motor or wiring issue and waiting on a response from support. Hopefully they will send a new unit if this is a known problem…

If you want to try this, make sure mower electrical connections area clean, and apply dielectric grease to the pins. Can’t be sure it will fix it, but worth a try while waiting on Yarbo.

Did yours start working after your initial error?

Might be coincidental, but i started getting the error when the temps outside got much warmer (>90F). I may try to mow tonight after it cools down and see if i get the error again. I have tried to move the module and wiring to see if it’s a connection issue, but it never starts the blade back up. Only starts again after i dock and charge for awhile.

Mine happened on a normal to cool day. Right now it is around 90 degrees and the rover is out there mowing. Been running or charging since Noonish. I hope Yarbo figures this out. They said they are keeping an eye on mine, but you know how support can make false claims.

Do you have a M1 mower to try?

I have the pro with the straight blades installed. If it fails tonight I may swap to the discs and see if that changes anything.

Pure speculation, but this is starting to look like Pro Mower/Firmware combo. I have the M1 with unconventional cutting surfaces and have not seen this to date.

Sorry for the delayed response. Based on our diagnosis so far, we will need to replace the Lawn Mower Pro unit for you. Our support team will continue following up with you through your ticket regarding the next steps of the replacement process. Thank you for your patience while we work to resolve this for you.

Could we please get an update on this issue. I have had a ticket open for almost 2 weeks and the one time Yarbo wanted to connect and diagnose the issue it was trying to mow, now i have to wait days for a response. I continue to get this error randomly. Sometimes it’ll mow for hours and be fine, other times it’ll constantly throw the error and I’ll get no mowing done.

Did you ever try the dielectric grease to see if that would help the connection?

Sorry for the delayed response. I’ve already asked our team to prioritize your case and review it as soon as possible.

What should we do when a support ticket is submitted and nothing is resolved? I have one open for this same issue for four weeks. They keep asking me for videos. Now I am told that I have too much tree coverage and gps wont allow the blades to work. Strange how it worked and mowed until it broke.

I asked for an escalation and now the ticket is placed on hold.

I wanted my weekend back like you advertised now not only do I mow manually in the weekend my week days are taken up by research and trouble shooting for you.

please can I get some resolution.

Too much tree coverage is a garbage answer for your issue. Push back in your ticket. response.
@Yarbo-Forum. These type of embarrassing responses from support need to be addressed!

On hold is typically normal status for when it’s escalated to the next level support.

There is a lot of garbage solutions they put out also. Almost like they are using AI to spew.

Is being on hold for over a week the right amount of time?

Unfortunately right now that is the case.

I did try that but still having the issue. I really think it has to do with overheating. It would only mow yesterday for about 30 min when the sun was out (85F). When the sun went down it mowed for 8 hours all night long with no issues. I’m considering putting a large white sticker over the black parts of the mower module and see if that helps.

This would be the first I’ve heard of the mower having heat related issues. Wonder if maybe the battery is heated and not supplying enough voltage or something. When it happens, take a look at your battery temp.

This did nothing for mine. I did try that. I just got in a new unit, sent it out to mow and it got stuck on “Yarbo Adjusting the Blades” and then nothing. I restarted the unit and now it’s mowing. I will follow up how long it mows for. With the first mower unit I had, it would mow for about 10 minutes and then the “blades would not get up to speed”. I am hopeful the new mowing attachment solves that problem. I really want this thing to work.

I am so glad the not getting up to speed thing only happened once for me. I have backups, but it still sucks if you spend decent money on a mower and it can’t mow.
