Yarbo mower blades stop the moment they make contact with grass

All of the sudden mower blades stop the moment they make contact with grass. unattached mower module. checked that nothing was obstructing blades. I cleaned up everything anyway. Put new blades on. After a few of these the yarbo just sits there and says “please wait until the blades reach the required speed” in the app. It just site there on the hill and the blades dont spin up.

Anyone had this issue?

This is a very common issue right now. Get a ticket opened so they can diagnose it.

Sorry to hear about the issue. I’ve checked the ticket in our system, and our team will follow up soon.

Thank you for your patience while our team gets back to you.

Yes, sadly I experienced this back in April. In my case they replaced the mower with a new unit. All good since, fingers crossed.

This has to be software, no? How can all this hardware be non-functional out of the box?

I opened a ticket on 7/4/2026. Took about a dozen back and fourths to collect some simple data and to pull diagnostics from the Yarbo. They completed all that on 7/4/2026.

Oddly, last night I got an email asking for a screen shot of the error to which I replied there is no error. the app simply says “Please wait until the blades reach the required speed” but just sits there indefinitely after the blades halt a handful of times. I sent a longer video of the behavior.

Can you provide any more information on what the hold up is? Its going to cost me a lot to have the hillside manually cleared if I cant get this device back on the hill ASAP.

Are we able to see our own detailed logs of what sensor is tripping or what is happening?

Longer Video. Curious if this is the exact same behavior others experienced and what the root cause was.

Screenshot this for them. That’s what they are looking for.

Have you tried manual mowing in the app, where you start the blades and drive it into the grass to be cut?

I now have the same problem. My unit has been working flawlessly last year and part of this summer. Started to have random errors in the last 2 weeks and now my mower behaves like you… checked the M25 connector, cleaned and greased everything, all combinations of reboots… nothing… dead robot in the middle of summer, 3 acres to mow…. I’m with ya…

The screenshot of the notification message “Please wait until the blades reach the required speed” is exactly what we were requesting. Thank you for providing the video and the additional details.

Regarding the “On Hold” status, please don’t worry. Your ticket is currently proceeding through the normal after-sales process, and I will continue to follow up with our team to make sure it is reviewed and handled properly.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. We’ll work to get this resolved as soon as possible.
