GPS issue, dead HaLow module

Woke up one day, My Rover has no GPS, looked at my HaLow, red light. Reset modem, unplug HaLow power for 10 mins, no luck. Use the LoRa module, GPS is back, but… I have dead spots on left and right side of house, even though the antenna has line of sight of the Rover. I reset base, cleared maps and start over, i can’t even teach map. Now I’m pooped. And i bought the M1 pro Module, which when it’s shipped it’ll be useless. I reached out for support, and there has been not much help. With the HaLow module it can cut the yard no problem, just that my blade motor overcurrent. Any help will be great.

So a couple of things here. You appear to have the 23 model. If so, the mower pro will not work unless you also bought the 24 core. If not, I would suggest you cancel your module order.

I don’t know much about the 23 but you may have to use the Yarbo tool and reset everything. Your HaLow base may have failed. I would definitely get a support ticket opened soonest.

Hey Bryan, Update:
I swap the wifi motherboard with the HaLow motherboard, and now my HaLow is back up and running. Once I opened up the Data center to look what’s inside, I realized They used the same motherboard between 2023 and 2024. Once I swapped it, my Data center on my HaLow is up, and I reset my Base, and all my GPS is back up and running. No hiccups or waiting for GPS around side of the house anymore.

Glad you got it working. Not sure I completely follow. Did you have a 23 and upgraded to the 24 and then the data center HaLow failed?

So I’m one of the early funder, I didn’t buy the 24’ model when they offer. So I received the 1st gen. When they shipped me the Body, and the M1 mower they sent me 2 Data center , a wifi RTK/LoRa( doesn’t have the Ethernet on the bottom) and they shipped me the HaLow Data center that has the Ethernet on the bottom. Well, things been going great with the HaLow up until June, I had no GPS, Data center was blinking Red. Nothing I tried revived it. Support was useless, they respond very slooooow. From June til now I have 5 response, they escalate it to R&D, but no help, no update. That’s when I decided to use the wifi, and realized it work, but GPS is spotty, I moved the antenna to the middle of the yard, better but still some spottiness that cause the Yarbo to sit for hours and didnt move. That’s when I decided to open it up, and see what’s the difference with LoRa and HaLow. Since the Mother board is the same, I swapped it with a 2023 version , and HaLow came back alive with a solid green light.

Thank you, I understand now. Not sure if you saw my earlier comment, but don’t forget that the M1PRO will not work with a 2023 U1 Universal Body. The 23 modules communicate on a different protocol than the 24 modules. While it will attach and connect, it won’t be recognized or supported.

Yes I reached out to them to cancel the order, unless they add some kind of support for it. Like an adapter to support then I’ll buy it.
