If anyone in interested of pimping out their Yarbo then you could buy yellow HaLo antenna.

Somehow I managed to break one in the winter and as I did had a spare already bought from Yarbo I wasn’t too worried.

Then I needed a new spare and I stumbled upon this one: Yellow LoRa antenna

This yellow one is about 1 cm shorter then the Yarbo’s original but there is no different in signal quality. It is highly flexible unit.

Has all the needed features. Runs on 915mhz, SMA male connector and it is dirty cheap.

Ha Ha Ha that is nice

I actually want to do the reverse. I want to cover everything yellow so it doesn’t stand out so much. With it sitting outside with easy access to thieves, I’d like to be more stealth.

Later this year I might try black auto wrap (obviously cutting out holes for the sensors & cameras).

You may want to consider a lighter color. Black will cause it to heat up more and might warp the plastic or add to the battery temperature issues.

Excellent point that I haven’t considered. I was just thinking it would be less film (i.e. easier) to cover the yellow. Now I have to consider covering the whole thing in camo. :thinking:

@GROWF - Several cans of spray paint may be cheaper …

I strongly considered that, BUT it is non-reversible if I don’t like it.

Plus I’ve been meaning to get experience with car wrap film. I plan on taking a picture of the stone work on the side of our house and wrap our 96 gal garbage bins with custom printed film to make them blend into the house. My HOA allows. them to be stored outside, but I’d still like to make the less prominent. Doing the Yarbo will give me some practice.
