Anyone know how far away a machine can go from a data center for the halow to stop working? I have a situation where I’m cutting a grass airfield that’s over a mile long so my data center would be a mile plus away from the machine wondering if it can do it. also, the area doesn’t have 4G so I can’t switch to that.
This is what AI says (See below). Regarding the distance, you’re going to need some sort of supplemental connection. If you can connect to a WiFi mesh network, this could work. Yarbo does have built in Cellular that will select the best of the 3 major providers in the US. So maybe it will work OK for you. The other option might be to mount the DC closer to where you won’t have signal so that it can provide that and on the other side you could have cellular or wifi.
