It would be a great feature to be able to buy and pair multiple data centers/charging pads for larger properties that have different areas that need to be mowed. For example, my Yarbo is currently only mowing my yard but I have an orchard that also needs to be mowed. I would be interested in having a second data center at my barn and take Yarbo up with me on certain days of the week to mow at that second location then bring back down to the house to mow the yard again. The distance and terrain is too large/difficult between the locations for one data center to manage. Thanks for considering.
You can have multiple docking stations currently but only one can be active per work area at a time. You can enable and disable them in the app. Also, as long as your orchard isn’t many miles away, it can work over cellular if HaLow won’t reach that far. HaLow will cover 32 acres in theory. Try enabling cellular if you haven’t already (it’s included) and see if you can map and run a plan. It will most likely just work as long as your DC at home has internet access. Note: SmartVision doesn’t work over Cellular, but everything else will.
Thank you for your suggestion! We truly appreciate your feedback and will pass it along to our product department for consideration. We understand that this could be a useful feature for many users, and we’re grateful for your input.
For now, as Bryan has suggested, you can check if the second location is within the cellular range that Yarbo can operate. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to improve our product!
I see in the documentation of the diagnostic data that the Yarbo can receive RTK data from two (multi) base stations. Can you please describe how that works? I want to add a second because some of my property is out of range of the one I have now.
@lewiswight , just a quick check -
When you park the Yarbo directly under your current DC, what do you get for “Signal” on the diag screen?
This is not a current supported feature. It’s a potential future expansion.
As @steve was implying, there is probably some underlying HaLow issue that is causing you a problem. HaLow should cover up to 31 acres in theory. Are you exceeding or anywhere close?
