Halow False

Hello,
Since a few day Yarbo seems to be always in 4G.
Data center is Green. I have reboot it.
When i’m near i cant see it with my phone.
In app i see halow connect is false?

What can i do ?

Is there a legit reason for it to fault over to Cell? Is the rover able to get HaLow where it is? Could the HaLow signal be blocked by a structure, hill, or metal roof? Mine was having issues where HaLow faulted to Cell for no reason, and a complete power cycle seemed to resolve it…for now anyway (I’m still trying to root cause what I’ve seen).

Is WiFi enabled in the rover? Try forgetting the WiFi network to see if that forces Halow. It’s under Diagnose Tools → WiFi. You do not need WiFi, most folks turn it off.

Check your antennas on the Data Center and the rover to make sure there is no damage and they’re snug. Maybe something got torn off by a branch while the rover was out mowing.

And the always suggested “power cycle everything.” Pull the battery on the rover, wait, plug it back in, power it back up. Data Center as well, maybe your network equipment if that seems suspect.

Make sure your App and Data Center firmware are up to date. You install those. Make sure the rover is at V3.8.18, which Yarbo pushes to you (should be automatic during idle time).

What do you mean by when you’re near you can’t see it with your phone? The data center or you can’t connect to the core via Bluetooth?

As Ken mentioned, pull power to everything for 5 mins. Power up DC first, then rover.

If you can connect to the DC VIA Bluetooth fine, then Make sure your data center firmware is up to date (v1.0.25).

You could try a REPLACE data center in the app. Don’t do the reinstall data center. That will wipe your maps.

If none of that works then you need to open a ticket with support.

I have reboot rover. Now holow is seen by rover.
But when i’m near the DC i can’t connect it by BT.

BT with rover is perfect. It works better than my previous Mammotion.

Did you report this BT issue elsewhere and crosspost, @Arnaud? This is the 2nd report I’ve seen.

Can you install the App on another device and try it, maybe?

No, i only use this forum. I’ve made a quick search on this forum but don’t see this kind of problem.

For the DC it could be a bug from my phone.
I’ve upgrade to oneui7 a few day ago.

I’ll try to replace.

I can’t use this. Yarbo is working. I’ll test in 2h

Typically if you can’t connect to the data center, replace won’t work either. Sometimes you have to get extremely close to the DC for it to connect. Try getting as close as you can. If it’s on the roof and not easily accessible, go to the highest and closest point in your house and try to connect. It’s possible the Bluetooth antenna on the DC is loose and may just need tightened.

99% of the time if everything else is good and it won’t connect via Bluetooth, disconnecting the power injector for 5 mins will usually get communication back via Bluetooth.
