HaLow intermittent - 6 seconds on, several seconds off (on BT)

I decided to manually control my Yarbo the other day from my iPhone. I was able to drive him a few feet and then he stopped responding. I looked at the display and my finger hadn’t come off the joy stick controller. I noticed that the HaLow icon was displaying a Bluetooth logo instead. Then the HaLow icon returned and I grabbed the joystick and he started moving again. Then a few seconds later, he was stopped again. This went on for a few cycles and I finally got him onto an “area” for cutting the grass.

I have the DC mounted about 18’ in the air on a tv antenna and it was in sight and only about 100’ away from Yarbo.

Then I tried to manually cut the grass and turned on the blade. The blade spun up and then stopped. I looked at the controller and the Bluetooth logo was up again. In a few seconds, the blade started spinning again. I looked down and the logo was back to a HaLow icon.

I decided to reboot everything. I went and restarted my internet connection, my mesh network and my HaLow antenna. Then I went out and restarted my Yarbo.

After everything was back up and running, the same issue persisted: a few seconds of HaLow followed by a few seconds of Bluetooth.

I decided to send him out to cut a work plan. I attempted to start the plan but after a few seconds of the “please wait Y”, the call to action failed due to a network connection. When I saw the HaLow icon return, I stomped on the work plan start button again. This time I got the sheet indicating that a plan was being calculated. In a few seconds, he was off doing his thing. His performance on the plan didn’t seem to be interrupted by HaLow drops (if they even happened). I watched the phone display for drops during a work plan. The BT icon occasionally appears for a few seconds, but the HaLow connection seems to be there +95% of the time.

So, I have an intermittent connection via HaLow that restricts remote control and starting work plans but, once started, Yarbo works the plan, seemingly, without interruption.

Versions:

App - 3.18.6

FW - 3.13.11

HH - 2.1.43

HB - 3.2.16

Bluetooth is the default and it often drops out. HaLow isn’t dropping out, bluetooth is. Disable bluetooth on your phone and I bet you don’t have the issues. If so, disable bluetooth permissions for the app. Enable them again later if you can’t connect to the core for some reason and want to try local bluetooth connection.
