Hotfix Update: Firmware V3.13.15

Dear Yarbo Family,

We hope you are doing well.

To improve Yarbo’s stability and provide a smoother, more consistent user experience, we are rolling out Hotfix Firmware V3.13.15.

The hotfix will be released in batches and is expected to be fully deployed within a week.

What’s included in this update?

  • Improved the stability of communication between the Core and attached modules.
  • Optimized IMU data stability for smoother and more reliable operation.
  • Reduced instances of camera disconnection for a more consistent experience.

How to update:

Please make sure your Yarbo is powered on and connected to the internet. The new firmware will be installed automatically once it becomes available for your device.

Please note: There is no new app version with this release.

If you have not received the firmware update after a week, please feel free to contact us at support@yarbo.com.

Best regards,
Team Yarbo

Thank you for the update and the new fixes!

I know I said this before, but please keep these coming. The more the merrier!

Was losing mostly the rear camera quite a bit recently (frozen video, distorted video, disconnected, or just black), sometimes the front froze or disconnected, and I was going to put in a trouble ticket today…and then this new firmware showed up. Timely!

I ran a work plan after the FW update, and the cameras are still there. Nice.

Good to see you pop your head back in here. Been a while. Hope you are doing well.

His anyone seen any improvements with the new firmware update?

Unlucky me I am always one of the last batches to get updates.

Interesting got the update but haven’t had time to test it yet. I want to be present when sending it out for the first few runs.

Another day with out the update… Wait, you don’t trust the process?

Always best to Trust, but Verify!

The cameras work better. Before i gad dark screens or still pictures. Now they are no glitches.

I just performed the update… initially, I got an error regarding the B009 power board, prompting me to contact support. After a few restarts, the error disappeared. I haven’t yet disconnected the trimmer that isn’t being detected, but I’ll do so today; that could well be the issue related to the core replacement.

Im now getting the “Wait Yarbo adjusting blades” while yarbo sits there and has a non smoking smoke brake, until I run a reboot command and then happily carries on like nothing ever happened.

Its like working with a first year apprentice again!

They dont do any work until you reBOOT them in the butt!

@bryan.wheeler Hey! Back at ya, Bryan, hope all’s well! Yep, still here, just consumed and swamped by quite a bit going on, especially the last few months, with a lot to do before the colder weather comes in (anyone want to help stack 10 cord?). At the mo my Yarbo is 60 miles away doing things remotely, looking forward to getting it moved, set up, re-mapped, and all that – hopefully in the next month or two. The riding mower’s great and does a very nice job, but I’d much rather have Yarbo doing it. And Yarbo’s float never sticks open and hydrolocks.

Not sure if it is related but my GPS is much worse. Also it is slow to recover in my open field. I had changed antenna mounts to the flex mounts and it was great. (Still waiting on the pro antennas to show up). I would mow an area of my neighbors yard it would struggle in prior to mount change with no issue. I updated yesterday, mowed my open field no issue. Went to the neighbors got stuck. Did my normal drive a little out, but wouldn’t recover. Moved to an open field and it took a minute or 2 to get signal and another minute or 2 to get full signal. Normally it would have recovered long before while driving.

I have not yet rebooted (I am remote). Thought I would post it though.

I hope for your sake it could have just been a bad GPS day.

If a reboot doesn’t fix it check that the cables and antennas are tight when you’re back onsite. Did you use the two wrenches they originally sent you to tighten the cables on the mount? May have just come loose a little if not.

I actually did not do this. Just finger tight. I will check when I’m back on site. Thanks as always for the tip.

I will note that the cameras seem to be much more stable, no drops yet. That used to occur frequently.

I have the update and just noticed my front camera this morning disconnected for an extended period of time. It is mowing by deep ditches this morning so I got concerned and sent it back to the charger. Hopefully it performs better when it resumes.

I’d recommend a reboot but generally the cameras will recover on their own after a few mins.
