My question is is it ok to use compressed air to clean the yarbo core unit. I get grass clippings all over inside the core after it mows. I don’t want to bang around in there with a shop vac and the leaf blower doesn’t get into those little areas.
Great question. @Yarbo-Forum
Yes, it is fine, gently use it of course, much like when using a leaf blower. I would be careful around the speaker and some of the connectors if you get too close with it.
Yes, you can absolutely use compressed air to clean the Yarbo core unit! As Bryan suggested, just be careful around the speaker and some of the connectors to avoid any potential damage.

Thanks, I guess I assumed this was ok. This is how I clean it. Indeed not at speaker, typically only lightly blow out that area.
How does one clean out the caster wheels? Mine are filled with decaying grass. I tried blowing it out with little success, did get them rolling ok. Got a good whiff from the decaying grass though.
never noticed this problem myself. I usually just hose out the underneath periodically. I’ve seen people take theirs apart. Not sure how they are doing that, but that was mostly to grease the bearings.
I had to remove the castors, then pop off the wheel covers to clean out the grass. I ended up replacing them with a different caster that had smaller covers so they could be blown out.
Good to know. Thanks for this, I may look at getting some on hand just in case. Any particular one that worked well?
I am able to keep them rolling, but a little more friction than I would expect.
These are the ones I bought, recommended by another user on a Yarbo FB site. I can’t find the other post right now:
They jammed 2-3 times (not sure if I should count wheels independently!). What seems to work (jury still out) is clean well (including WD40). Wait for them to dry. Then apply grease (I use SuperLube). Did not jam since… Still need to remove the decaying grass (and occasional dog you know what…)
