Is missing 1/2 and full mower widths normal?

Happens to me occasionally. Seems to be related to poor GPS. I have an area that sometimes has good coverage, sometimes not. I’ve watched it do its thing and notice that it registers first correctly in the app, and then when it enters a well covered zone, it seems to realize it missed an area (not sure I explain it correctly) but the end result is sometimes there is a missed row like this. Will maybe be fixed with the new update? Can’t wait to receive my update!

I noticed two strips, each about 6-8 inches wide yesterday when yarbo completed the first mowing of one of my areas. This is not the first time, however. This is why I immediately set Yarbo to mow each area a second time at 90 degrees. This takes a while but really ends with a nice cut. I have no idea why Yarbo leaves strips unmowed but mine has been doing it for some time. Like you I mow with 8 inch overlap and at the absolute slowest speed.

Now I’m not one to throw everyone’s thinking way out of the loop. So here it goes. I had a few spots that have been missing cutting because the issues I’ve had with many things. So grass is taller than normal need I say. So manually I drove him into that smaller area. Very slow to knock it down, then go back over a few times. So turning What I noticed was as I was backing him around what a clear cut he gave. Well I put this to a small test. Remembering when I was a kid, now as an adult bush-hogging in the pasture. Let’s back him in the areas that are taller. Not drive him normal, but back him the same as driving him. What I saw was a cleaner cut, nowhere near as much pushed over grass. More was cut, cleaner one pass, same tough GA grass. Just my two pennies. Should Yarbo pull the mower, vs push it???

Pulling vs pushing the only difference is the casters right? Maybe the rake?

The rubber striping flap too. It’s probably lifting the grass some.

That could be.

IDK. But I challenge you both to try it. Now I know what it looks like when it short, and is mowed normally. But with that being said. Because I had some a lot taller, I tried it just for giggles. 3 strips, about 25’ in length. 3 forward and normal. 3 backwards, then just the normal length of grass not mowed. It was like night and day. This was grass about 6” height. Mower is set at 3”.
