Lights on!

Lights are on and cannot shut off after update. Many restart try’s

It seems to be normal. …white lights are on when the Yarbo is fully charged and the rear lights are on when you activate the app…when you close it, they should turn off.

Yep. Yarbo if having trouble comprehending what Lights OFF means.

They have a problem comprehending what a “no go zone” is also. At this point I could care less if it looked like a disco ball if it would just work like it did a week or two ago.

I am having the same issue with the front side lights. They are now constantly on after receiving the latest firmware update yesterday. I plan on powering it off and then a restart, if that doesn’t stop it then I will contact support.

the upper lateral ones are normal…the frontal one is not

Hi there, if the top lights remain on after the update, this may actually be expected behavior with the R11 hotfix.

After the update:

  • The top lights are now used to indicate that the machine is powered on, so they may stay on continuously while Yarbo is awake and not actively charging.

  • The rear lights indicate the APP connection status and may also remain on for a period of time after connecting.

That said, we have received feedback from users regarding the current light behavior and logic, and our team will continue optimizing it in future updates.

Thank you for the clarification. It did seem strange however now I have a better understanding of the new role of the lights when the Yarbo is not in operation.

These are called the steal me lights! They draw attention to the location of the Core and can be seen from the road an acre away. There needs to be a toggle to disable this terrible behavior if the Core determines it is on the charging dock.

There honestly shouldn’t be any confusion. If the user requests lights off, the lights should be off.

I understand your concern, and I’ve already passed your feedback along to our product team for further evaluation.

Last night the overhead lights were off…has anything changed?

They will be off when it is actively charging. When it is in battery conditioning mode (discharging) they will be on.

I checked last night and the battery was at 100%

that’s why I asked if there were any changes

Anything is possible I guess, but nothing I am aware of. It can still be charging and show 100%. Check the docking station light next time. If it is green, then it is charging. If solid blue, it is in the discharge cycle.

my top lights only work while working…when it is charging or finished charging they are off…has something changed

You just got lucky I think. Mine still stay on when not charging.

It started three days ago…before they stayed on
