Looking for Leaf blower tips

I’m attempting to build a series of concentric zones around some trees at the front of my property to collect all the pine needles and cones, which are very good at jamming my mower module. I originally tried towing a lawn sweeper but just got broken hitches and antennas, so I bought the blower module.

In the screen shot below you can see how in the center of each area an expected parallel pattern there is a stripe of perpendicular motion and sometimes radical turns that hinders progress. Does anyone know why, o better yet how to stop it?

This is what one of these patterns looks like at run time…. Wasted time, wasted battery, no production, and damaged turf.

Try fussing with your blowing lines. Don’t make them as long, just do 1 side, etc.

Thanks!

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Have you had a chance to try ben.karrow’s suggestion and see if it helps?

If the issue still persists, please feel free to update us and we’ll be happy to help investigate further.

Yes. Sometimes changing the length of the lines causes the system to make different patterns or in this case eliminate them. It still seems odd to me that this pattern was created at all.

For example, Today I had another anomaly with the mower creating at zipper pattern.

That’s a wild pattern. Where is your blow line on that map?

What is your pattern set to, out of curiosity?

This is mower. No blow line.

Adaptive

I wonder if a different pattern would generate a different route plan for you. I would certainly submit a ticket on that one, that is just wrong.

Ok. I will. I just assumed it was something I just had to live with. It took forever to finish that row, just now completed it. (For clarity, it did the straight rows to the right of it as well, but the zig zag rows took much longer)

Now it just has to close the zipper and you’re all set! You definitely should not have to live with that pattern. Setting a rotation, offset, etc could change the planned path (or disabling those). there are definitely things you can try to tweak it. Adaptive is still a work in progress and needs some more love.
