Hi, can I run a map building process w/o the specific module? I would love to prepare snow blowing areas while i still use Yarbo as a towing tractor w/o having the snow plow module installed. Is it possible without the module?
It is possible to map it. you won’t be able to set the module specific settings until the module is attached. Additionally, it is generally recommended to map using the module so that it accounts for the size of the module during the mapping process. If you map using the SAM, keep in mind that you may have to tweak your maps when the S1 is attached.
I mapped first with the SAM then put on the snow blower. I didn’t expect that it wouldn’t be able to even get to the driveway without setting throwing direction for everything between the dock and driveway.
I’ve since remapped with the snow blower on and it did indeed build a different size work area.
The advice of mapping with the module to be used makes sense to me now.
