Not sure if this is a GPS issue, camera issue or software issue but I will chalk it up to GPS for now until someone with more experiences tells me otherwise.
I have a Yarbo Pro Mower and so far (first cut) its been great (will after finally getting the GPS to connect). My issue is that the mower had been cutting great lines and then all of a sudden in on part of the yard (with NO TREES or SHRUBS) it decides to go around a small patch of grass as if something is there, then it goes back the other direction and goes around it again, then comes back the same direction and goes around another patch in the same general area. It made about 4 or 5 of these little islands in that flat wide open area of the map.
What is your current setting for obstacle avoidance at? Definitely sounds like obstacle avoidance. Were there red splotches on the map? Try using gentle contact for the area. It’s bumper only mode. Do, if there’s something it can’t bump into then you should put no go zones around it.
This is an issue with the pro mower for sure. I would get a few missed spots but now with the pro there is more missed areas. Yarbo needs to get this stuff figured out! I (we) did not pay for a mower that needs to be turned to gentle contact to get it to work, we were sold on a smart robot with GPS and vision, not bump into it technology.
Have you noticed any red splotches on the map? If not, it may possibly be due to a GPS issue, where Yarbo missed some spots while correcting its path. This will likely need further investigation from our support team to determine the root cause.
