My guess is marginal GPS and obstacle avoidance. But that’s just a guess.
Open a ticket and note the time/date for the video so they can determine what is going on. Marginal GPS is probably a factor here and as Ken mentioned, it certainly looks like obstacle avoidance, but no red splotches.
Is this worth a ticket over or just a random fluke? I’ve noticed some other weird things in the app lately now that I’ve mapped some areas ~1 mile away from my main areas.
100% put a ticket in. Best case scenario, it’s something you can tweak and they tell you how. Otherwise, you’ve got good documentation for them to follow up on. If they aren’t tracking on the issue, this will help. If they are, at least you’ll know they are and it will be fixed at some point.
I vote for a ticket too. If they fix it for you, I hopefully won’t see the problem.
Agree. If a obstacle is detected, the map will show a red square generated by point cloud. A ticket will be ideal for support to analyze the issue.
Hi there, thanks for sharing the video!
It looks like the GPS signal was weak and briefly interrupted during the run. Since your Yarbo is operating between the house and the trees, the location might be causing some signal interference.
Please keep an eye on it and see if the issue happens again. If it does, we’d recommend submitting a support ticket via support@yarbo.com
, so our team can review the logs and help you diagnose it more accurately.
OK thanks all! Email sent, added my Nest cam footage from around that time as well
