Got my Mower Pro up and running with about 1.5 of my 1.8 acres mapped.
Yesterday I ran a mow across the back 1 acre and noticed there are approximately 4" gaps between a lot of the rows.
My overlap is set to 4" so the mower is off by >8" from where it should be.
Are there preferred settings that will help with this issue? My yard is a wide open, completely flat yard so nothing to get in the way of Yarbo doing its job.
As we discussed in messaging. Try zero overlap and see if it helps with the path planning issue or zero turns. Rotation and frequent cutting should also keep things more uniform and get the missed stuff.
I know, right? Some people in the FB groups are saying it works better this way. I have not personally tried it. But I’ve seen numerous people say it. If it does work, must change the path planning or path following behavior vs the overlaps.
Any chance you have the blades on backwards, left on right, right on left? Yarbo labeled the blades backwards from how a normal left and right is on a vehicle. The deck underneath is stamped. It is a common thing people mess up.
Where on your map is the missed grass? The way most people have been dealing with this is just use a pattern like checkerboard and send it again. Curious if you tried the no overlap yet?
