Navigating around obstacle where there aren't any

Yarbo was moving a portion of my yard (that it has done mulitple times before, without issue) and it was finding obstacles all over the yard where there is nothing anywhere around (see image). It was running at night, would that effect it? Do I need to clean the cameras?
Thanks!

Yes most likely it was a dirty camera. Keep them cleaned especially at night. If you don’t have anything you are worried about it hitting, you can set the mode to gentle contact and that will turn off vision and rely solely on the bumper. Just make sure you have good no go zones defined and don’t have anything random show up in the area being mowed that might not be detected by the bumper.

Thanks! I think that is exactly what it was. Cleaned them off this morning and it seems to be running just fine now.

This just happened to me. Mowing during the day. Cleaned cameras and it did not help. Change obstacle avoidance to every setting and it did nothing.

You changed it to gentle contact (bumper only) and it was still avoiding? If there is red on the map from the previous detections, you would have to stop and restart the plan from the same percentage to “forget” the previous avoidance detections.

I usually go on the app controller and clear all notifications and that seems to help.

Mine shows obstacles occasionally where I have a few bad dips or old roots depending on the angle it comes across fwiw

This was probably track slippage. It will mark those events with a red splotch on the map. I’ve recommended that Yarbo make these yellow instead of red and give a toggle option to avoid track slipped areas.

Makes sense, the caster wheel of the deck turns oddly and adds enough resistance to make it slip

Did you ever find a solution? Mine is doing the same thing. Camera cleaning did nothing, cleared the errors, it still won’t drive for more than 5’ before it starts avoiding an obstacle that isn’t there. (Set up a call with tech support and of course they didn’t join the call so I’m hoping someone else on here found another solution)
