Since I turned off Cell yesterday Diags now shows Data Usage (Rover). Was that how it always worked?
…And there’s another little prod to turn on WiFi. Nooooo!

It should not show usage increase with it off but it does seem to fail on if it loses HaLow.
It’s kind of like…. do you want to mow or not?
Dozens of them until i pull the plug on the DC. Has happened 3 times recently all in the same zone (opposite side of house from Data Center)
Yep. Seen something similar. IP Pool exhausted and WAN fails. A reboot of DC restores everything. Something is going very wrong in DC code.
Ticket #108517 submitted on the issue.
Looks like a job in the DC is spinning up a virtual NIC, then crashing. Process restarts, spins up another. Wash, rinse, repeat until hilarity ensues.
Part of me wonders if it happens with physical location and signal maybe? Parallel lines has it go “in and out” / connect and reconnect?
I’ve got a couple spots in shadow where 4G kicks in for a few seconds. I don’t have any random MACs floating around. I have exactly the DC.
Make sure wifi is disabled on the core, if you haven’t.
Not sure how to confirm “disable” but it has no login credentials for any networks.
If you’ve never connected your core to WiFi, which it doesn’t sound you have, then you’re good. If you did for some reason, there’s Forget Network option.
Somebody did. He’s got two leases out, one of which has activity.
I only mention it because I have exactly the DC and nothing else.
Those are all wired leases fwiw all reporting on the data center port. Those screenshots from when haywire.
I got my new core, connected to wifi for the firmware update, used the “forget network” option to "disable” after update and haven’t seen it in my wireless list since.
This screen shot is current. Just after I unplugged the physical charger from the unit.
I am about to power down the core and unplug the battery and see what’s still showing.
OK I saw no change when I powered down the core and waited a few minutes. However after I unplugged the battery from the core the other lease disappeared.
Here is the detail of the mystery lease below.
Plugged the battery in and did not press power on the core. It never(20+ minutes) showed up until after I pressed the power button on the core. Then the other Yarbo Mac was back a minute or so later.
I confirmed core wifi Mac hasn’t been seen since I told it to forgot the credentials at the beginning of July.
I’m the latest Victim of this… My diagnostics are all fine (Lots of sats and L2, Heaindg <1.3, RTK mode= true, Latency 1-2, Network green and strong, ping 0ms, DataCenter Connection 2. Status Running 0 Normal. HaLow = True Signal -40 to -50. Wifi Disabled.
Did reboot rover and DataCenter. Still have the 4G icon…
I read the thread but I don’t see any solution? Do I wait it out or I need to open another ticket…??
Oh… And if I turn off 4G, Yarbo stops and I lose GPS…
You need a ticket. Very weird. Everything sounds good otherwise.
Hi there, could you please open a support ticket regarding this? It may require further investigation from our support team.
Hi
For whatever reason the robot resumed working after on standard network without any intervention. It did take around 285 MB of 4G before it resumed. I have no idea what happenned. Do you want me to open a ticket still?
For now all systems are “nominal” (except for the unwanted zero turns and poor routing)…
I would, and note any dates/times and any other details you can recall.
