@Yarbo-Forum If you can, please ensure that the people in charge of that extended warranty start-date remember that some of us placed an order in June or July and did not receive the completed order until February, only to have it catch fire the next day and then wait nearly a month for a replacement, only to discover that the fire had wrecked the S1 as well, meaning we didn’t actually have a working setup until March.
The distinction here is that for your 2 year Yarbo warranty it is the date of activation or 3 days after delivery of your first module. However, the in app activation date will currently always show actual activation dates. But in reality my understanding is it’s not what Yarbo’s policy states.
As for the new 5 year plan, that’s a third party and they will only support new purchases from the date of purchase or within the last 60 days. It’s the insurance company imposing this restriction, not Yarbo. The survey for existing users closes this week. I look forward to their announcement for what that will be. Hoping it will be a great solution for the early adopters. It’s going to be a Yarbo provided warranty, so I’m sure there will be limitations.
And the 5 Year warranty is only for 500 units. why only 500. Have they built too many they should have sold. So after 500 units we are back to only 2 year warranty.
Well it looks like purchase in the last 60 days means nothing. While I tend to think the hardware is ok, I’m not to sure about the company.
