We are excited to share that we are testing an new version of the cutting disc and blade guard design for the Yarbo Lawn Mower, and we would like to invite 15 users to join this testing program.
Who we’re looking for:
Users who are willing to provide detailed feedback on their testing experience.
Users whose lawns feature dense grass, uneven terrain, slopes, small obstacles, or other complex conditions.
How to apply:
If you’re interested in participating, please reply with a brief description of your lawn’s condition—or even better, include some photos. We will select 15 participants based on the lawn conditions provided, as we aim to cover a wide range of environments to evaluate the performance of the new design under different scenarios.
Application deadline: August 10th, 22:00 (EDT)
Thank you for your continued support in helping us improve our products. Your feedback is invaluable, and we truly appreciate your participation in this process.
I am a volunteer! 3 acres, uneven, currently lots of NGZ for the most bumpy areas. 1 acre left to map because I am worried Yarbo will always jam or break in those areas. As you know, I always provide very detailed feedback Below also a ssample of the numerous roots that hit my blades everyday…
I would like to be respectfully considered. If YARBO will send me the original deck and the new cutting discs I would like to be considered. My Yarbo is sitting and waiting for the Pro version I ordered so I have nothing but time and a very uneven 3 acres of country grass to test this with. I have elevation changes and series of different types of grass including Crab Grass! Sounds like a perfect opportunity for Yarbo to supply a customer the chance to use my Yarbo
I’d like to be considered. I have about 3 acres. My yard is what I’d call a country yard. It’s not a pristine lawn. I have broken two cutting disks since spring one was in the grassy knoll area. The other I’m not sure when or where it cracked as it mowed fine until I noticed it was cracked.
The grass is thick and can get tall quickly. I have one slope on the property that produces track slippage when wet. Other than that there are a couple drainage ditches that are pretty steep but Yarbo has handled them so far.
Here are some dense grass photos. (Yes Yarbo struggled on last mow)
I would love to be included in this testing program.
My acreage has a wide variety of conditions. Lots of tree roots and other obstacles in the lawn, a variety of slopes and culverts, and dense grassy areas that are more difficult to maintain without clogging.
If you’re looking for a variety of different lawn conditions to test, my property likely has what you’re looking for.
Well. Count me in. I have 2 hectares of “you name it”.
Slopes, gravel mixed with grass driveway thats included in my mowing area. Area where 20 or so years ago we kept horses and never leveled afterwards. Orchard with 60+ trees. Old potato field with rich soil for grass to grow like crazy. 100 year old pine trees with roots sticking out from the ground and 1 million +1 pinecones. Those roots mostly I have “sanded” level to the ground with JD zeroturn but those roots are alive and yarbo in different places are hitting them with the blades already.
I don’t know is it important or not but I have removed all the guards from the discs. The metal sides and also the metal bracket what was behind the disc where the side where attached to. If for the testing I would be needed to install them back then I’m not really interested of testing the new products. Life without the guards have proven to be the thing Yarbo desperately needs to be more or less autonomous.
I am willing to test. I have a country yard. Dry areas, wet areas, pine tree areas, willow tree areas. It is very challenging that is why I have a pro mower on order. Thanks
Sign me up. I have all the above. Large lawn over 2 acres has lots of heavy southern US grasses, dense grass, uneven terrain, slopes, small obstacles, and other complex conditions. I’m more than interested in participating. What I have now even on slow speed, 2-3 cuts per week. Still has issues with the tougher grasses.
I would like to be considered. I have a little over an acre. Had issues with clogging and disk issues. My lawn is on a slope and we have a wooded lot. Occasionally a stick or limb will be down and create an issue as well.
The grass and whatever is growing (and should not) mostly 20-30cm high and in some cases even 80cm.
The ground is mostly flat except 0,4ha but I also have many holes because my two dinosaur (Tii-Reks ha ha ha) and the bettet cats and dig out whole mice colonies.
I bought my Yarbo only recently and unfotunately I have only the standard version and NOT the PRO with double motor power which would be much better in my case.
Currently there is a software problem with the GPS since the last update and MrYarbo refuse to start without.
But I like to try the new blade design since I am still waiting, that the mulching blades are available here in Estonia.
Seen some try it on FB but I don’t think it did much. Also heard that some of them drooped pretty bad due to the heat generated from friction. Presumably from the material that was used.
