This looks like this will work with the trimmer. Haven’t put it back on yet.
I will report back.
GPS is Green, on Green, on Green, on Green!
I have pretty much the same one in a different color. You’ll want be careful with the mower attached. Because it goes in head first and turns around to back in, the front poles will need to be positioned back near the front edge of the dock for it to clear. It will leave most of the mower outside the cover.
Also with my pro mower I have to turn off vision and ultrasonic to get it to leave the dock without errors.
I use an identical black one and it works well with the signal.
I did the same thing
Yeah the head in turn with the mower is a wild and unnecessary move I feel like.
I’ve decided to postpone building Yarbo’s permanent house for now. Too many hotfixes that seem to be changing the behavior of the robot. I need assurance that the docking behavior won’t change significantly before I build the house.
Yeah same here. If they ever get my trimmer to work, or should I say the core to work with the trimmer that is going to be an odd one backing in.
I don’t quite understand why yarbo can only back in versus driving thru.
Some guy on FB said he is working with yarbo to make a ramp on the back of the dock so it can pull through, true or not I guess we will see.
They use magnets to test for proper alignment. They need to know which magnets they’re looking at.
So, N/S matters, and that means “front in” vs “back in” matters.
This is rad!! Is that a garage door!?
Yes. Helps keep the leaves and hopefully a lot of snow out when its out. The Yarbo pushes it back to enter.
Well done. This thing is slick.

That’s very cool. Is it scratch built or did you modify a commercially available product?
I want to do something very similar but with an overhang to give the mower some cover.
Did you use the track shields as the garage door flap weights? Does it dangle or roll up? If it rolls up I’m going to lose my mind.
