Options to deal with motor stuck errors

Currently, when there is a motor stuck error when mowing, it does nothing but drive back to the dock. But 3 times yesterday the only issue was there was a stick lodged, and by the time I noticed Yarbo was back in the dock, all I had to do was push resume, and it continued with no problem, likely because the stick problem was dislodged while traveling back and forth.

I also observed Yarbo getting a motor stuck (overcurrent) error due to a dip in the yard. The blades were crammed up against the ground and of course couldn’t turn. But all Yarbo wanted to do was go back to the dock and charge. So I had to manually raise the blade height, go forward a few feet, and then continue the work. This is the sort of thing that Yarbo can try before giving up and leaving the work area.

Instead, it would be nice if Yarbo offered options on what to do when a motor stuck issue occurs:

  • Push notification
  • Pause operation and wait
  • Stop operation and go back to dock
  • Ignore and continue operation
  • Maybe even an attempt to dislodge the blockage, spin blades at fast speed, spin them backwards, backup for a few feet, raise the blades, etc
