Polygon Map smoothing

I keep thinking about map optimization. When you drive the perimeter it’s difficult to have a smooth path and optimize for the machine turns. If after mapping you could have the path run a smoothing and optimization for the machine turn it would not need to do all the tiny adjustments and back and forth moves to match the jerky manual control moves. I would think that the smooth polygon mapped would also make the mow calculations faster. This would be good for a manual no go zone as well.
