Poor GPS Signal Issues / Second Data Center?

I’m newer to the Yarbo platform. I have a lot of issues with the GPS drop-off while mapping, we have a tree lined lot in much of our 4 acre property. I finally got a successful mapping, however, I don’t know if it’s just going to freakout when mowing. When I see the number of satellites, it’s usually pretty high.

Do you have an option to have multiple Data Centers? This would give more RTK triangulation?

RTK doesn’t work like that. You can’t have more than one DC. If you mapped successfully then I wouldn’t worry about it. Watch it the first couple of runs, especially on the perimeter laps and if you have a few mows without it doing something unintended, then I would say you are good to let it go unattended.

Hi there, welcome to Yarbo — and thanks for sharing your experience so far.

At the moment, Yarbo supports using only one Data Center for operation, so multiple Data Centers for RTK triangulation isn’t available.

As Bryan mentioned, it’s a good idea to keep an eye on the first few mowing runs, especially to make sure everything behaves as expected after mapping. If those initial runs go smoothly, you should be in a good place to let it operate more confidently.

In addition, you might try adjusting the PPVS settings to help fine-tune performance in areas where the GPS signal is weaker. This can sometimes improve stability in more challenging environments like tree-covered properties. Yarbo Lab & PPVS(Precise Positioning Vision System) | Yarbo Wiki
