After about a week of mowing I have noticed that there is a buildup of gras under the deck. So much, that the blades will eventually start rubbing against it and the app reports errors. It’s easy enough to scrape off. I did put the graphene spray on the deck, but it’s still sticking.
I think some buildup is normal. I know my M1 will accumulate debris. I give my M1 a bath every now and then.
Let me correct that, I dont submerge it in water. A gentle rinse off with the hose is what I do.
Wow.. Lawn mowing. A distant memory with all this snow on the ground right now…
Just lower the blades down and hose it off. Some build up is expected. The graphene coating is oily and can leave a residue if not fully wiped off. Plus I don’t think it bonds to well to the shiny plastic surface or whatever coating they might do at the factory. I think it will build up less after that all wears a bit. I didn’t coat mine and there’s a little but not a lot.
Also have to mention: try not mowing if the grass is wet
Hi there, some grass buildup under the deck is normal, and regular cleaning will help keep your Mower Pro performing at its best. As @rcguymike suggested, avoiding mowing when the grass is wet can also help reduce this issue.
