Wondering how to connect your Yarbo Speaker? Letâs walk you through the steps!
When you first use the app, it automatically connects your rover to your Bluetooth device. Usually, youâll start with âAdd Your Yarboâ and âSelect Your Yarbo Modelâ to control the rover. But what about connecting the Yarbo Speaker?
Hereâs a quick guide to help you set it up:
Press and hold the power button on your Yarbo for 3-4 seconds.
When the rear lights flash blue, Yarbo enters pairing mode.
Go to your phoneâs Bluetooth settings and scan for âYarbo Musicâ to connect.
Click âPairâ when the Bluetooth Pairing Request pops up, and youâre all set!
Important: If Yarbo loses connection, it wonât automatically reconnect. Youâll need to unpair and redo the pairing process.
Weâre actively working on improving Bluetooth functionality in future updates, based on your feedback!
Caution, kids: I tried pairing the speaker with my ANCIENT Samsung Note 9 from 1927, and it barely worked â so difficult and fiddly to pair and actually get an audio connection.
BUT â coincidentally? â starting when I first tried to pair the speaker with my phone from Ancient Egypt â I got frequent Bluetooth pairing requests that you couldnât make happy and have go away foreverâŠso annoying after several months I went out and purchased a new phone. Iâm not trying this again on the new phone. No way.
Nope, thereâs nothing to âdeleteâ from the BT connections on the phone. Nothing I could do from my side other than to turn off the phoneâs Bluetooth. Tell THAT to my Garmin watch.
I had a live Support call back in January or so, and the engineer tried a quick patch, but it didnât work.
Yarbo peeps, I placed my antediluvian phone back in its sarcophagus for now but will be happy to work with your team on a fix if access to this specific device would be helpful.
Probably not. Most of his issues I think were somewhat unique. Although it has happened, most of the time it either works or it doesnât. Itâs worked every single time for me across multiple cores.
