After a month my right blade mower stopped working and my app displays “Right Cutting Motor Issue - Please check if the Right cutting Disks are properly activated. Please clear the error and retry (RC004)”.
I, safely, verified that the motor moves freely when moved manually. However, when electronically activated the right blade does not spin. I placed a ticket (#230037), in which I authorized remote diagnosis.
My unit was cutting an area it has normally cut for weeks and there is no tall grass. This happened within a week of being instructed to disabled tilt and lift safety features as a method to test the invisible objects it had begun to detect the week previous.
My questions for the community is:
What are the common causes of this failure, and are there any user manageable causes that I should be looking at?
What is support time for resolution on issues like this?
What causes this type of problem?
Is this related to the disablement of the lift and tilt sensors?
Open it again. If you have the number refer to it. I had a similar issue a few weeks ago and it took 10 days end to end (from ticket to new mower home). You confirm both motors spin freely and nothing is blocking one? If this is the case you likely have a bad motor. If you know how to query the mqtt feed you can check yourself if current goes up for a few seconds on that motor. If it doesn’t, it is likely dead. If it goes sky high and stops, there is an obstruction.
For the RC004 issue, further diagnosis is needed to confirm the exact cause. I’ve located your support ticket #230037, and our team will continue investigating it through the ticket.
The resolution time can vary depending on the diagnosis result and whether any parts need to be replaced.
Regarding your last question, disabling the lift and tilt safety features should not normally be related to the right cutting motor issue.
Thanks for your patience. We’ll keep following up on your case and work to get this resolved properly.
