Right cutter motor issue RC004 error

I have a pro mower. It’s been running ok since February. Last week it faulted with a right cutter motor issue and refused to return about 2 acres away. I took the blades off and cleared any debris. I can also see both motors spinning. It throws this fault anyway. I already filed a support ticket but had anyone else had this issue?

Additionally, it’s up to date on fw and has been power cycled.

BTW I’m new to posting but have searched this site a lot for help. It’s a great resource here.

There are a lot of people with issues with the pro mower right now, I am included in that group. My yarbo will say “waiting for blades to reach speed” and will just sit there with only the left blade running. A couple times I have found it with no blades running. For me this has been going on a month now, they are finally looking into it harder.

Hope they get this figured out soon.

Do you have any other modules to out on and see if you see any issues with those installed? Any corrosion on the module connectors? You can take the mounting plate for the blades off and look at the spindle to see if anything may have wrapped around it.

Welcome to the forum, and I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue.

Thank you for already submitting a support ticket. Due to a higher-than-usual volume of support requests recently, it may take a little longer than normal for our team to respond. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.

In the meantime, if you’re comfortable with it, could you please update your ticket to give us permission to perform a remote analysis on your machine? This can help our team investigate the issue more efficiently and may speed up the troubleshooting process.

Thank you again for your patience, and we’ll do our best to get this resolved for you as quickly as possible.

Good read. I guess I’m not alone here. Seems very similar to my issue. Support has responded. I guess I’m back on the mower and tractor this weekend. I need to tan up a little anyways lol

Will do. Thanks for responding.

I cleaned up the connector with some Crc qd contact cleaner, but honestly it didn’t look bad.

It’s the only module I have as I live in Cypress tx and we get no snow. (If it ever snows here it turns into an apocalypse). That would be a great troubleshooting method though.

I did take apart the spindles an cleared any debris made sure it was charged to 100 percent. I still got the same fault.

I tell ya…I could break the horn off an anvil…

Unfortunately, sounds like you need to wait on support to diagnose it at this point. Be sure and document everything you did in your ticket. It will help speed up the process.

agreed and will do. thanks. Time to get a farmer’s tan on the mower
