Rust not covered under warranty

FYI - Rust and rust issues are not covered under the warranty. I was unpleasantly surprised to discover that rust even in the warranty period is not covered under the warranty. If you begin to see it on your units my advice is to address it ASAP as you would on any expensive vehicle. Plenty of options out there. Inspect all metal parts as best as you can and address the rust as soon as you see to prolong the life of your Yarbo. Yarbo the company won’t be there for any rust issues that occur on your machine.

Just curious if support told you this or you just read that in the warranty details? I have not seen rust there on either of my mower decks. I would think this is something Yarbo would want to know and would want to correct for future production runs. I would bet that if it became an issue, they would also warranty it. Surface rust, they probably would just advise you to put some WD40 or something on it and monitor it. Just a guess.

I’m sorry to hear about the rust issue you’ve encountered. I’ve checked with our technical expert, and you can use WD-40 to help treat and prevent further rusting.

It’s always a good idea to inspect and maintain metal components regularly. Let us know if you need further guidance!

Yes, it was an official written response from Yarbo support. They wrote it is not covered and as Yarbo wrote below…. their solution is WD-40.
