Snow throw direction

Now we REALLY need that Zamboni pattern! And tow-mode!

Trick I use:

a) Make a sked / sled out of something. Anything to put under it to slide on the ground instead of the tracks, winter or summer.

b) Webbing to haul with. I have the long-end of an old ratchet strap with a hook on it. Long is good, can throw it over your shoulder and hold it with one hand will using the app with the other.

I tried changing the pattern and marking the full edge for snow throwing. It’s still dumping it back into the center. It would be perfect if I was trying to build a quinzhee.

I think this is going to require support to analyze the logs. If you have videos or anything you could provide and screen recordings of the app while it’s working I am sure that would help them see what’s going on and correlate with the logs. Exact date/time it’s shooting snow where it shouldn’t will help them narrow it down.

Is it possible to connect the chute backwards? That would explain things.

Good thought. Anything’s possible. Thankfully easy to verify…

Using the Yarbo app, go to the remote control, and use the app to swivel the chute. The physical rotation should match what is depicted in the app.

That’s a really good thought. Other possibility could be that the wires got reversed at the factory.

Great idea, but it responds to the controller properly

Hmm. So that seems to rule out either an incorrect installation of the chute or improper electrical connections.

Sorry, but I can’t immediately think of any other diagnostic steps to take on the hardware.

Hopefully Yarbo support will get to the bottom of this for you soon.

Sorry to hear that changing the pattern didn’t resolve the issue.

We recommend submitting a support ticket regarding the snow throwing direction problem. This will allow our support team to retrieve the system logs and take a closer look to better understand what’s happening.
