Sometimes can't draw a no-go zone

Today I was updating map and drawing no-go zones and faced issue where no-go zone can’t be created for unknown reason.
I drove around the tree (small one and was driving close to it) and after a full circle Next button does not turn yellow. Tried with larger no-go zones and it works fine. Tried several times with small ones and every time the same.

Last year i recall creating similar no-go zones without any problems.

GPS coverage was good (green) att the time.

One technique I’ve seen online is to draw a larger circle (Just for placement), then use a smaller template circle inside the placement circle.

It’s a work-a-round at best.

I believe if it is smaller than 3ft or you aren’t lined up really closely to the original start point, it won’t ever complete. As Ken mentioned, drop a templated NGZ there and you can use the nose of the core to check its sizing as a reference. You can adjust templated NGZ’s now after the fact, so it is less of a hassle now.

Well. If it’s a tree, it is minor problem as Yarbo will anyway see it or bump into it.
In.my case there are some stones in the ground. So now the options are somehow map them as no-go ir dig them out… shouldn’t be heavier as 50-60 kg, bit still quite an effort.
If mapped incorrectly, will damage the cutting blades 100%

This is going to be helpful, I have a similar problem with a street sign and telephone pole support cable. Tiny foot print that my rover has gotten stuck on twice, and makes me worry about the cable catching the antennas. Tried using a default and it dropped a three foot diameter no go that I was having difficulty modifying… Just went in and shrank it, guess i had to let it save first.

The support cables on two of my telephone poles caught Yarbo a couple times. I opted to have the whole poles removed from my property. They were not in use anyway. That may not be an option on yours though.

could make it hard to charge the Yarbo

But your electric bill will be greatly reduced.

Hah.. my solution was to use shovel and some muscle power to get rid of some lonely stones sticking out of the ground. Now moved them outside mowing areas

That’s some serious stones
