Mine are on the way!
Is that a new antenna on the top-the cap?
@bryan.wheeler
I think we all would agree that this should’ve been established from the jump. I’m just glad that they’ve finally been upgraded. Mine’s been ordered. Guess we’ll have to see…
No that’s where the current RTK antenna mounts to. The mount itself is flexible. It’s actually very rigid and gets pretty flexible when mounted but still maintains its stability.
Post a video and show us. I’ll bring the popcorn and ![]()
When ordering, does one order come with 2 or do I need to order two? Will this be a better option for mowing also or is the low mount still better for mowing?
It’s my understanding that the low mount “for summer” were to avoid hitting low hanging limbs. And the high mounts “for winter” were to negate the effects of snow accumulation on the snow blower.
I don’t think Yarbo has provided advice beyond that.
That is correct.
to me, the problem with the new flex mount is that now the antenna is twice the height and more likely to bump into branches and such.
I’ve been using my flex antennas for most of the summer without an issue, but then again I am very careful about mapping and no go zones. Nothing for Yarbo to bump into.
It comes as one unit. You would need to order two. These are flexible but are still somewhat stiff. It’s a judgement call on whether you would use these in the summer. It would really depend on your environment.
So glad you’re excited about it! ![]()
The item is sold as one unit.
For mowing, you can definitely use the flexible antenna mount afterward if you prefer. It should work just fine for that task. Let us know if you have any other questions!
They come with washers but it’s not clear where they are supposed to be placed. My initial thought was topside to distribute the load but after placing them it may not be the case. The above video does not look like they are there either. The underside seems a bit odd considering there is already support and not really designed for that.
They go on top. The old high mounts had them attached to the screws already. I prefer those over these.
Ok, thanks Bryan.
Well… Here we are.
I received my “Flexible” antennas today –NOT.
I opened the package to only discover that I was sent the hard plastic ‘Breakable’ version instead of the advertised new flexible version.
Is it possible to have one simple Yarbo order go through without any issues?
I’m beginning to think not.
I contacted support. The Gentleman exclaimed the new flexible version was still in Beta. Yet, the Yarbo store states the “NEW” High RTK Antenna Mount --Durable & Flexible, is $26.00 (Each --of course!).
I’m beginning to wonder if Yarbo possibly hired several 3rd Graders from a local elementary school to help with filling orders… Good Grief!!!
I ordered two antennas on 11/04/2025 and they were the flexible ones. They also arrived within a few days which is unusual for Yarbo. The previous time I ordered accessories it took a few months to arrive. I totally forgot I even ordered the stuff.
Mine came shipped from IL vs CA. So that was nice.
